Terri Ferrari founded Metal Tiger Technologies to share the benefits of his unique perspective based on 25 years experience in Data Processing Management and 25 years experience in the Chinese Internal Arts like Tai Chi Chuan and the underlying science of energy cultivation - Chi Kung. Metal Tiger Technologies specializes in the east to west transfer of technology, applying traditional Taoist technology and wisdom to modern maladies and problems. To this end, Metal Tiger Technologies has several multimedia products under development including 'Avoiding Carpal Tunnel Syndrome', 'Coping with Back Pain' and 'Living with Arthritis'. Besides the development and marketing of multimedia products, Metal Tiger Technologies also provides seminars and consulting services in:

Terri Ferrari has a Bachelor of Arts from New York University with a double major in Mathematics and Psychology, and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Experimental Statistics from the University of Rhode Island, specializing in Artificial Intelligence. Since early in his academic career, Terri focused on applying formal analysis to human behavior and organization. Inspired by Martin Heidegger's concept that 'The essential nature of Man is care', Terri developed a generalized theory of intelligence that can be applied to any living organism, computer programs and human organizations such as corporations. It may be glibly phrased 'You are what you care about.' Terri first applied this theory to his Master's Thesis, 'A Syntactic Acquisition Device' which modeled how a child learns to first combine words. Subsequently, Terri has made a career by applying this insight to both computer systems and the human organizations they support.

In seven years with the Federal Computer Performance Evaluation and Simulation Center (FEDSIM), Terri saved the government over two billion dollars and received the Air Force's Organizational Excellence Award twice. In thirteen years on Wall Street, Terri has specialized in designing, implementing and managing Capacity Planning and Performance Management Systems that are closely integrated with an organization's other systems management applications including as Change Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Financial Systems. Terri developed a 'just in time' system for deploying and upgrading DP Resources that by optimally exploiting the Investment Tax Credit allowed Morgan Stanley to earn 30% after taxes on major capital investments. For over ten years at J. P. Morgan, Terri's system has not only accurately predicted application growth and economically deployed the most appropriate resources, but has also allowed major budgeted capital expenditures be delayed two to five quarters without degrading service below acceptable criteria whenever business conditions dictated tight budgets.

Besides his curiosity in how the human body and mind work, Terri has been motivated in his study of Taoist Technology by the stress around him on Wall Street. After a short hiatus from practice, Terri recognized the deleterious effects of this stress on his own health. Since then he has used Tai Chi, Pa Kua Chang and Chi Kung to regulate the effects of stress on himself, and the wisdom of the Taoist Classics like Sun Tzu's 'Art of War' and Lao Tzu's 'Tao Te Ching' to reduce and alleviated stress generating conditions and situations for everyone in the workplace.
