Long Hsing
Ba Gua Zhang:
The
Dragon Shape Ba Gua of World Class Master Zhang Sheng Li
Taught by Sifu Frank Allen – Assisted by Tina Zhang
In this weekend workshop the rare and beautiful
advanced Ba Gua Set, Long Hsing or Dragon Shape, will be presented to the
Western public for the first time. This set was developed by Master
Zhang Sheng Li, whom Frank and Tina learned
it from while in Beijing. It manifests post natal energy while
presenting an array of advanced Ba Gua techniques coupled with a long,
fast mud tread step and many different aspects of coiling Dragon movement.
Students of this workshop will learn the first four palm changes of Long
Hsing Ba Gua, which will introduce them to the low stances, high kicks
and quick movements of the style.
