Ba Gua Zhang as a Moving I Ching:
Taught by Sifu Frank Allen – Assisted by Tina Zhang

This weekend workshop will explore the roots of Ba Gua Zhang as a circle walking practice of Taoist Moving Meditation.  It will specifically focus on how Ba Gua Zhang physically and energetically manifests the eight basic patterns of change, which are symbolized by the eight trigrams of the I Ching or Chinese Classic of Change.

Students will learn how working with the change patterns can help them to deal with change in their lives and how to experience the I Ching on physical and energetic levels as he more common intellectual study of the I Ching. This understanding of the roots of the art can be applied to all styles of Ba Gua Zhang and learned by all levels of practitioners.
